The co-ruler in Thebes
Iuput I was the son of Pedubast I. When his father successfully seized Thebes for a second time, he elevated Iuput I to the position of co-ruler. The timeline of his exact reign is heavily disputed, but his faction was ultimately defeated and expelled from Thebes by Prince Osorkon.
