The best-attested king

Nehesy is the most well-documented ruler of the highly obscure 14th Dynasty. Historians believe he was the first, second, or sixth king of the sequence. His parentage reflects the diverse demographics of the Nile Delta at the time. His father was likely of Canaanite ancestry, and his mother was Nubian.
