Egyptian royal family tree

19th dynasty family tree

1295–1186 BCE

This family tree covers the 19th Dynasty (about 1295–1186 BCE), founded by Ramesses I after Horemheb chose him as heir. It follows Seti I, Ramesses II with his many wives and children, Merneptah, and the troubled last generation of Amenmesse, Seti II, Siptah and Queen Tawosret.

Ramesses II is the centre of the tree. He is said to have had well over a hundred children, so only the best-known are included here.

Read the full history on the 19th Dynasty page. Children are shown under their father, or under their mother where she was the ruler or the father is unknown.
